Food security of women and juvenile prisoners; the integration of criminal rules and human rights

چکیده :

Food security by its various aspects can be categorized as one of the basic and fundamental human rights which has been discussed in different international instruments through the time. Although different international instruments recall rights of prisoners, the food security of juvenile and women prisoners - considering vulnerability and specific nature of their needs- are highly depreciated. The present research by focusing on the lives of vulnerable groups in Critical conditions as women and juveniles in situation of imprisonment, discusses about the principles which can be derived in the context of food security. Comparative perspective to these principles both in national (Iranian criminal system) and international level (human rights law and humanitarian rights law instruments) leads us to a comprehensive approach which creates a legal system based on criminal rules and human right factors.
